~The Lair of Madame Tarantula~

Japanese song lyric transliterations/English translations.

All transliterations and translations have been done personally by me.
(*PLEASE ASK TO USE ANYTHING I POST ON MY BLOG, I'VE WORKED VERY HARD ON THESE AND DON'T MIND SHARING, IF CREDIT IS GIVEN. THANK YOU!*)

Each song lyric has its own page (instead of the usual "post" format) containing the transliterations and my English translations on the page in a format that makes it easier for me to post and also allows anyone to copy and paste them for their own use. To find a song, simply click the artist's photo in one of the side columns or the artist's name listed in the rows at the top of this site, which will take you to a complete discography listing (if I've had the time to create it, some are not finished yet) and links for any song I've translated and posted on this site. Scan directory links are also listed underneath discographies for each artist by magazine and then release date chronologically once they've been edited by me and posted to this site.

Please credit me if you use any of my translations! Thank you!

Lyrics

Pink

My English Translation
———————————————————————————————————————————
The appearance/look of young girls that dream of…pink lipstick
Eventually they become aware of another color…and instead put on red lipstick

But I differ from them…I am a proud band girl
Made…in…Harajuku…I will put on black lipstick
I have a single friend…my ancient/worn-out mirror, mirror, Mr. Mirror/honorable mirror
Today I will ask you a question again

“I want to completely wither away now…rather than bloom vibrantly”
) remember/recognize this face, but
Perhaps…it is from another time/era!

Ah…for certain I am the cursed heroine
Or…is it a common misunderstanding that I am a band girl?

If I am reborn, then…1that time I wore this lipstick is good for
2Anything and everything…therefore, I am bound to remember how to use it well!

Ah…I will dazzle/blind them all…day after day of alcohol and roses
I drew the curtain closed/ended it all with this lipstick, for I have a feeling
Ah…it was a trick of Fate that…I was given/bestowed these looks/this face
So informing me by the smashed up mirror

Notes:
1 ‘this lipstick is good for’ is what is written, but ‘that time I wore this lipstick is good for’ is what is sung.
2 ‘Anything and everything at that time’ is what is written, but ‘Anything and everything’ is what is sung.
